Breakthrough Healing with Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) combines the medicine’s unique effects with guided therapy to help you explore and process your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. For some people, this can create a deeper sense of openness and perspective that enhances their healing journey. While KAP isn’t necessary for everyone, it can be a valuable option for those who feel it may support the work they’re already doing in therapy.
Ketamine
Originally developed as an anesthetic in the 1960s, ketamine has since emerged as a groundbreaking treatment for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health concerns. Over the past two decades, research has shown that ketamine can rapidly reduce symptoms, often where traditional approaches have fallen short. When paired with psychotherapy, ketamine can enhance emotional openness and create a powerful window for deeper healing and insight.
Multidisciplinary Team
Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy is a collaborative process that brings together a prescribing medical doctor, a trained ketamine therapist, and — when applicable — the client’s existing therapist. This team approach ensures that each aspect of care is integrated, personalized, and safe. Our goal is to support the client’s growth not just during ketamine sessions, but across their broader healing journey.
Set and setting
The mindset you bring (set) and the environment you're in (setting) deeply influence your experience with ketamine. We take great care to create a supportive, calm, and intentional space that encourages safety and inner exploration. Before each session, we help you prepare mentally and emotionally, so the medicine can meet you where you are — and help you move where you want to go.

What does a KAP session look like?
Each ketamine session is shaped around your comfort and needs. You’ll have the option to wear an eye mask, get cozy with a blanket, and listen to carefully selected music that supports emotional exploration. Some clients choose to go inward, resting in silence and reflecting on what arises. Others prefer to journal their thoughts or process emotions out loud with me in real time. There’s no “right” way to experience a session — just your way. My role is to hold a steady, compassionate space so you can safely explore whatever comes up, at your own pace.
Hi, I’m Chiwoo — a therapist trained in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy through Fluence, and in MDMA-Assisted Therapy through MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies). These trainings have deeply shaped the way I approach healing: with presence, safety, and curiosity.
For those who struggle with perfectionism, codependency, or people-pleasing, ketamine therapy can offer a powerful shift. In a ketamine session, many people experience a loosening of the rigid inner critic and a deeper connection to their authentic self — the part of them that knows how to say no, feel safe in their needs, and trust their worth.
This work creates space between who you truly are and the version of you shaped by fear, obligation, or the need to be needed. In that space, new choices become possible — choices rooted in self-respect, clarity, and freedom.
